Our first full day in Vancouver was an awesome day of exploring some of the attractions the area has to offer. We decided to do the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse
Mountain in the same day since Grouse Mountain is just up the road from the Capilano Suspension Bridge.
The drive took us through Stanley Park and over an awesome bridge and really didn’t take very long at all. Parking was easy to find and relatively inexpensive.
We first entered the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, which encompasses a fairly large area where visitors can walk over the suspension bridge itself, do the tree walk, the cliff walk, view some beautiful totem poles, and more. The area is set in a really beautiful forest canyon and is definitely worth a visit. sri lanka visa requirements for us citizens
I should warn you, however, it’s a pretty cheesy “Disneyland” type of experience where everything is curated for visitors. Still, it was a fun way to spend a few hours and since we’re not normally in the Vancouver area, I would say worth the visit.
After the Capilano Suspension Bridge, we headed up the road a little longer until we arrived at Grouse Mountain, where we took a gondola to the top, and then a ski lift even further up the mountain. There is a hike called the Grouse Grind that we considered doing, in which visitors hike the nearly 3 kilometers straight up the mountain, but when we came to our senses we decided the gondola would be much more pleasant.
At the top, there are spectacular views of downtown Vancouver and all the landscapes and mountains for miles in all directions. That was the coolest thing about being up there. Well, that and the fact that they had a bear habitat where two Grizzly bears were just relaxing in the water since it was such a hot day. If You decide to travel to Egypt, You need Egypt Entry Visa
Grouse Mountain also had a lot of ‘Disneyland’ like experiences, but we tended to ignore them and just explore the nature in the area and check out the awesome views. Maybe next time I’ll do the Grouse Grind (at least that’s what I tell myself, haha).
